A Look at Resin Art

Resin is a mixture of chemicals that can be mixed with special hardeners to create solid, durable pieces like jewelry, decorations, or home goods. It’s highly versatile and can support various colors, mix-ins, and finishes.

Why Is Resin So Popular?

Unlike painting, pottery, knitting, or sewing, creating resin pieces doesn’t require a lot of innate artistic skill. If you can daydream it or envision it, you can make it! And unlike other artistic undertakings, resin projects can be completed in a fairly short period of time. There are some points to know since we are working with chemicals, after all, but that’s where we come in. The staff at Break the Moldz will teach you what you must know to safely work with resin. And you can rest assured we have the supplies and the necessary ventilation to enjoy this craft without worry.

How It Works

It’s easy to get started! Prepayment for 1 ounce of resin holds your spot in a class or timeslot and helps us ensure we have enough supplies to accommodate your group. You can make many projects from just one ounce of resin, but larger quantities are available as well for bigger items like wine racks or tables.

Then you just show up and enjoy. Once your hands-on time is complete, your project will be ready to pick up in 48 hours. (Please Note: While we would love to hold everyone’s items, we simply do not have the storage space. We must regretfully discard any items that are not claimed in 7 days.)
